Respect. Honor. Care.
Milton Township Cares for our Veterans
- Milton Township offers a Veterans Honor Wall that is on display at our Township building. Whether you are a Veteran yourself or know of a deserving Veteran, a new Veteran’s Honor Wall is within the township building. Your name, branch of service, and rank will be engraved onto a metal placard that will hang directly on the wall in the multi-purpose room at the township. Many people walk through this room daily.- We are a resource for Financial Assistance. Veterans who are struggling financially are encouraged to make an appointment to apply for help with rent/mortgage or utilities.
- Veterans are always welcome at the Milton Township Food Pantry. The food pantry currently serves veterans in the food pantry and ensures that the veterans have what they need.
- Our Milton Township Cemetery Authority currently takes care of three cemeteries, of which are the final resting places of many Veterans.
- If we can not help a veteran in need, we can help them find the appropriate resources. Local governments like Milton Township are a valuable resource for residents, helping address challenges and solve problems locally.
