Vet-Wall-Long-ShotWe are dedicated to ensuring that our veterans feel celebrated and valued. A heartfelt thank you to all Milton Township veterans for your incredible sacrifices and bravery!

If you would like to be recognized on the Milton Township Veterans Honor Wall, or if you know someone who has served in the military and currently lives or has lived in the Township, we would be honored to celebrate their service.

Requirements for Nomination:

- The nominee must reside or have resided within Milton Township’s boundaries.
- The nominee must have an honorable discharge from the U.S. Military.
- DD-214 discharge papers or other significant records must be submitted to the Township as proof of service.
- Please include any interesting stories, events, or memories from their time in the military. (Make sure you are comfortable with these stories being shared publicly. If someone wants to know details about a person on our wall, we will retrieve the file and discuss it with them.)

An honor ceremony will take place during the regular monthly Township board meetings, after your application and submission have been approved. Milton Township will contact the veteran or their family with the date and time of the meeting. Family and friends are welcome to attend. This is just a small, heartfelt thank-you to all Milton Township veterans for your incredible sacrifices and bravery!

The Veterans Honor Wall printable application can be found here or in person at the Township office. Once the paper application is completed, please mail or drop it off at the Township Main Office.

Milton Township Veterans Honor Wall Application

The nominee must have resided, or currently reside within Milton Township's boundary lines. The nominee must have an honorable discharge from the U.S. Military. Please attach a copy of DD-214 discharge papers and any other significant records regarding his or her time in the military. The Milton Township office can make copies of any original document that is brought in. Please include any interesting stories, events, and/or memories of his or her time in the military. Veterans will be honored at the Township building during regular monthly board meetings. The Veteran will be contacted by Milton Township with the date and time of the meeting. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
